I feel obligated to post THE RULES even though you are probably familiar with the Do's and Don'ts of Forum etiquette. These rules are in effect for your safety and comfort while here at Horcrux TCG. If you have any questions please feel free to make a new topic here at The Ministry.

The Rules

All Harry Potter related media, merchandise, characters, names, etc are property of Warner Brothers and J.K. Rowling. Do not claim any trademarked or copyrighted material as your own or you will be expelled from Horcrux.
All members of Horcrux Forum must also be Students of Horcrux TCG. Your username on the Forum should match your Student name from your Joining form at Horcrux TCG. Failure to identify yourself as a Student of Horcrux TCG will result in expulsion without warning from Horcrux TCG.
All original fanart and game content is the property of the artist. Do not claim another's work as your own. Do not edit another's work without permission. Always give credit where credit is due with a mention or a link. Failure to do so will result in a Warning. Continuous failure to do so will result in expulsion from Horcrux.
Standard forum courtesy is in effect:
- No spamming - spamming is the act of posting content which is unrelated to the topic in which it is posted. Spam will be relocated to the appropriate forum or else deleted. Spammers will be Warned; continuous spammers will be expelled.
- No flaming - flaming is the act of posting disparaging, angry or rude comments in order to insight fighting on the forums. Flames will be deleted. Flamers will be Warned; continuous flamers will be expelled.
- No trolling - Trolling is the act of purposely posting controversial material in the hopes of instigating drama. Please, we have Bellatrix for that. Trolls will be Warned. Continuous trolling will result in expulsion from Horcrux.
- No mini-modding - mini-modding is the act of bossing around other Students without having the authority of being a Moderator or an Administrator. Mini-mods will be Warned; continuous mini-modding will result in expulsion from Horcrux.
- No god-modding - god-modding is the act of controlling another Student's character in roleplay, or speaking for them in forums. God-mods will be Warned; continuous god-modding will result in expulsion from Horcrux.
- No txting - txting, 1337 and chat speak are all forms of abbreviated comments which are faster to type but harder to understand. Please use appropriate grammar as best you can. Exceptions will of course be made for Students whose first language is not English, or for Students who are using abbreviated phrases ironically. Txtrs will be Warned, continuous txting will result in expulsion from Horcrux.
- No harassment - Harassing Students about any issue (sexual preference, sexual identity, race, gender, religion, blood status, house, etc.) will NOT be tolerated. Students caught harassing others will be warned; continuous harassment will result in expulsion from Horcrux.
- Give warnings! - Be respectful of new Students; give warnings. If your topic contains mature or violent content please provide a warning in the topic's title. Hide curses with symbols or spoiler tags, or better yet, use wizard swears. (For example, Merlin's pants! Or Expecto Patronads!)
  Spoiler:
No soliciting. Students will not attempt to advertise/sell goods or services through the Horcrux Forums which are not strictly A) One's original work and B) Harry Potter related. Art commissions are an acceptable service provided they abide by copyright law.
No hacking. Hackers of this site or any Student's tradepost will be expelled without warning.
Students will not badger fellow Students for trades. Please provide ample time for the Student you are trading with to respond to your trade offer. (Up to one week is standard). If the Student you are trading with declines your offer, respectfully accept their decision. No means no. Reported badgers will be warned; continuous badgering will result in Suspension from Horcrux.
